Good choice 👍 Lex Vegas. 🙃
Lex Vegas! I like that.
I have often though of Kentucky as a pastorale return to real people living in the beauty of nature. Your poem really made the state sound very inviting indeed. Well thought out and penned.
John
Thanks John. I have no idea where this idea of Kentucky came from, but it won’t go away.
Wonderful poem. I’ve always loved how fun your poetry is.
Thank you!
I’M SO GLAD YOU’RE HERE!
Now I won’t have to go without my dose of Pink.
Fabulous as always.
Thanks! I’m really glad you’re here too.
Whenever I think of Kentucky I only think of horses. 🙂
Well done, Pink.
Thank you.
Lexington is called the horse capital of the world. I’m not particularly horse crazy, but I do like seeing them in open fields.
🙂
Dear PD,
I really enjoyed the curious nature in the write about a place that essentially doesn’t appear to have any previous attachment for you. And yet, you may heed the call and how exciting would that be? I’m so living vicariously through you! The closing line is stellar. Loved it. H🌷
Thank you, Honoria. I’m still not through contemplating where to live. It’s like trying to choose which slot machine in a casino might be the lucky one and trying to ignore the fact that the house always wins.
I’m gonna tell you, a hard horse is good to find. Did I say that right? I don’t know jack shit about the derby or Kentucky. Was Davy Crocket from there? Maybe that was just his rifle. I think he was Tennessee.
Are you the one who wrote about Cracker Barrel on DUP? I loved that.
Meg

Hi Meg,
Yes, I wrote about Cracker Barrel on DUP. I’m glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for the compliment. I braved CB for breakfast a second time recently. I’m surprised they don’t have rhinestone-studded MAGA hats in their stores. I’m sure they would sell well.
