“You don’t know

what you want,”

Before she finally

Closed the door.

If I knew what life

Is all about

Before I knocked

I wouldn’t be at that door!

Nor would I’ve bothered to ask.

Isn’t that what

We are supposed to do?

Live life to find

What we finally want?

Aren’t you supposed

To help me find or

Live the life

That we both want?

Or at least take off my mask.

Life is too short

To wonder if

Alone is a place

We want to be.

I want to live.

I don’t want to be

Alone in a world

I don’t want to be.

Is that too much to ask?

    1. Wait…
You’re saying a woman shut the door in your face and now you’re all alone?
Fucking hell, Sam. I thought you were peeing against that wall. What a relief.
Get your ass over here. She didn’t deserve you anyway.

      The door is open…
as is anything else you’d like

    2. Sam. not acceptable. Walk away from the door. You need redirection.
Good grief you are not allowed to be alone.

Go to Dk first, I am too mad at the door shut in your face. (good poem)

    3. It’s not.
I don’t know anyone who knows what they want out of life enough to truly be able to go get it. The best we can do is make the life we have work for us and then other people can walk beside us if they choose and enhance our lives, but that’s their choice. I wish I had something more positive to say, but I learned the hard way that I had to be solid with myself first.
You’re worthy of someone who accepts you for who you are, who wants to grow with you, fuck up with you and move on with you.

You need to post more. Good stuff.
