A Message for Everywhen

Summary:
A message from the past, present and future, warning of a coming war.

Have you ever felt that something was amiss?

Do you feel that something isn’t quite right?

In the event of ever feeling that something appears off and unsound,

It made your hair stand on end; you felt a certain dark negativity that you couldn’t dismiss?

A certain sense of doubt, like something is in front of you but just out of sight?

like something, somewhere soon, is going to become unbound?

Darkness grew and you were one of the few who felt the ever-dimmer light

Our souls are at stake in a fight for our kind; hope must rebound

A war is approaching, heed the warning like when you hear a snake hiss

You were not erroneous to feel that way; in fact, you felt a cursed blight

Do not ignore what your mind is telling you; evil has set foot upon the ground

There will be dark times ahead, beware the coming dark abyss

They came from the stars and acted friendly, with knowledge so profound

They are coming from space; ignore their false promises or you’ll find you are remiss

They will come from the cosmos and offer us “gifts”; reject them, they are a parasite

Secretly they amassed their armies to conquer, like many others they had drowned

Covertly amassing soldiers aplenty and delivering us death’s cold, unforgiving kiss

Surreptitiously they will amass and show mankind their as-of-yet unmatched might

Maleficence and dark intrusions had once thrown shadows over your thoughts,

Hurtful and sinister ideations are vying to control how you think,

Hostile and vicious impulses will attempt to alter your thinking,

through positive enlightenment you persevered and staved off the psychic onslaughts

remain calm, don’t panic and let light guide your mind with your optimistic instinct

refrain from becoming overwhelmed by the coming negativity to deter the mental linking

You were a siren, you cautioned the populace of the horde, man’s future was on the brink

Your lively spirit is the lighthouse that is warning others that the ship is sinking

You’re to be the angel; with your wings you will carry Earth up so they can connect the dots

I too tried in vain to save my kind; but alas; I failed, and my species vanished in a blink

I am also trying with my all to allow my kin to cease their minds from shrinking

I will use my greatest efforts to make my species aware of the coming evil to be wrought

Once we thrived as an advanced hive-minded society, but failed to see our minds shrinking

A shared-consciousness, a technologically superior race, we’re in a quickly tightening knot

Our connected psyches and ultimate knowledge will save our minds from their mental kink

A last-ditch effort to prevail we used time itself and I was lost in the eye of time unwinking

We are learning to manipulate time and I am everywhen at once trying to cease their plot

Time travel is soon to be gained, I feel as though no matter what, I’m in an eternal time sink

We’ve spoken an infinite number of times before; we failed but will win before the end

We are talking now as we have always and never; we will lose the war and will still try

We’re going to speak; Earth’s death is soon coming upon you, don’t grieve, hope will prevail

We have failed for eons; now victory is nearly ours; it is our time to mend

We may be failing this current war, but we will win! We will rejoice in our unity and cry

We will fail a million times more, victory comes once and our story will become an old tale

I look forward to seeing you in the past so I can rejoin my race and say goodbye.

You see me now and we both know what lies ahead, a war! This time we will not fail!

We will look upon each other soon, after we win… after this eternal war’s end

You have remembered,

you are remembering,

you will remember my message regarding our war for our stars
