hello Broken One this made me sad…I was thinking earlier that I go along thinking I’m kind until I look at my relationships and realize how mean I can be and I do feel guilty thought provoking write ❤️
-
Dear K,
This’ll learn them. You forget me I forget you. I’m just kidding…sort of. For me, the heartfelt under current of a relationship shift is prevalent in the write, and we carry these slights forever whether there’s forgiveness or not. I really appreciated this poem. H🌷

This is excellent! It reminds me of the saying
Never let them see you sweat.
For me that applies to determination. To simply refuse to be taken for granted.
Love this! -
hello lovely Broken One I feel I missed out on something in you it so hard for me to connect with people… I would hope I could make you feel special always great write ❤️
-
Dear K,
Ouch. The sting in this write was an eye opener. It made me feel how much I’d dislike feeling exposed and minimized. I’m sorry if the event is personal history and not the use of metaphor but this is a succinct poem of how vulnerable we can be. Great piece. H🌷

Well look at you being all dark after Christmas:)
Each section had its own dark point of view.
I really enjoyed the stanza about evil hiding in the mundane
It reminds me of the saying in the Bible. Idle hands are the devils workshop.Great piece amigo!

A bittersweet piece, so beautiful and sad! I am glad that you reassured us that you are doing well , dear Damian!

Thanks so much for reading and your kind words, Elke. So glad you connected with the write my friend. Well I didn’t want anyone worrying about me, and I was happy while I wrote it. It’s kinda like a rain storm while the sun is still shining kinda vibe going on here. So bittersweet fits it perfectly. Appreciate you.

This reads like a slow descent through psychological aftermath—the kind that doesn’t announce itself loudly but corrodes over time. The imagery stays grounded while the emotion escalates, especially the idea of evil hiding in the mundane. Quiet, heavy, and effective.

Thanks so much for reading and your kind words, Thomas. So glad you connected with the write my friend. You got all that out of this write? lol. I’m just joshing you. Seriously though, your commentary really means a lot to me as well as your continued support my friend. You’re a gifted writer and I’m a fan of yours as well. Appreciate you.

I can see why others see this is dark, but I read it more as a reflective piece on darker moments. Like sitting under moonlight and remembering full darkness of troubled days…having just enjoyed the warmth of a fire and full spirit. There are definitely elements that lean into darker aspects, but if we’re not peering into those corners, are we really paying attention, or are we just living in denial? To be all sunshine and daisies in the current environment is pure folly. I don’t see dark, I see the shadows that follow us wherever we go. The hope that we still find light. Follow that muse where it takes you, my friend. It never leads you astray

Thanks so much for reading and your kind words, Willow. So glad you connected with the write my friend. I always enjoy your commentary, this one is reflective in a sense. Darkness does hide in those corners always lurking in shadow and watching our every move. To believe it doesn’t exist is denial I agree 100% Appreciate you.

Dear A,
I love the momentum in this piece. For me it really looks the gratitude and potential of relationships and events that occur during a year in the life. How fast they come and go. Congrats on your promotion! Life to see your writes.

Hi Honoria!
There is so much gratitude! This past year I lost my little chihuahua Daisy in November. Right before Thanksgiving. I was a mess. I had her for around 18 years. She was so old and her eyesight was going. Had to give her a little nod in my opening:)
Mark found a chihuahua Christmas ornament and put it on our tree.I’m also looking forward to 2026. All the possibilities!
I’m so happy to see you here and commenting:)
Best Christmas gift ever!

Hey my little busy Bee! ’25 was such an awesome year for you! Besides Daisy, of course. But your life has so much going on in it. Even getting your book out there in the world! Thank you for sharing it with me. All of my highlights of ’25 involve you!
This write of yours is so positive and empowering. I love the feeling of determination that is being carried within it. And I’m glad that you got some creative results out of the Taylor movie. I will be more kind when talking about her from now on. LOL
I’m all about my Adelphina! Woo hoo!-
Hey there lover!
This write is all about timing. To be prepared for whatever comes your way. To handle it gracefully or at least the best you can. To not cower which is hard for me. I’m brave with a pen but sometimes not always in real life! lol
You have been my highlight for the past 3 years!
And yes, the documentary from Taylor swifts last tour is very inspiring. I didn’t realize how massive her show was.
I just remember how expensive the tickets were.
I’ll only spend that much on a purse, maybe! Thanks for your awesomeness in 2025!
MWA!

Thanks Meme!
I’m working on it. Just need to get in that writing zone. I know you understand. The need to feel that inspiration in order to pick up that pen! Sometimes it evades me.
Now I gotta catch the last season of Stranger Things!
Fixing to get on Netflix! Woop Woop! HahahaThanks for not being a stranger buddy!

The beginning of each new year is another reset of our aspirations. We have a chance to start anew with hopes for a better year, a more productive year as long as we persist in our endeavors. I hope yours is all that and more Adelly. Best wishes to you. 🙂
-
Hi Tim!
Happy New Year amigo! Thank goodness for resets. I don’t know anyone who didn’t need one.
Whether it is about losing weight or finding love or being prosperous.
In some way we bargain with our future every new year.
We make decisions with hope in mind. It’s very cosmic in some way.
Hoping all our stars will align like paths.Best wishes to you too buddy!

This reads like a prayer and a dare at the same time. I love how 2026 is treated as a living witness—something you’re negotiating with, not wishing on. The imagery of ink, doors, courage, and the red carpet earned through work (not luck) feels honest and earned. There’s vulnerability here, but also resolve. It doesn’t beg the future—it challenges it.
-
I love this comment!
Yes, I didn’t want this to come across like I was begging for a great year.
We come across challenges every year. It’s inevitable. I want to go into the new year courageously, come what may.
This year I think 2026 or every new year for that matter as a quest. A year long quest. It will either break me or make me stronger. I’m an optimist. So either way each year makes me grow:)Happy New Year!

Oh, I am glad I discovered this (not for all, but for me) and I must ask you this: have you made any audios of your work? this is only the second one of your works I have read, and it begs the be heard. I must say I’m a bit prejudiced in that, being one who comes from that stable, but this really would be even more impressive aloud. Nice work, sir.
-
I haven’t done any audits yet but will be in the near future. Thx for the positive vibes, FD.
Much respect
Naaj
