First, Thank You, Fia. I’m glad you liked this poem. Second, I am not sure it’s a ‘song’. I think to make it a song there would have to be a lot of editing, along with some experimentation. I am not sure I would know how to do this. The poem was written as I was listening to this Bonnie Raitt song, so besides quoting some of the lines found in that song, I think some of the rhythm of the song did find its way into the poem. But to be truthful, this was more an accident than intended.
