Brilliantly penned, Willow. This is a powerful write with lots of layers my friend. I’ve always thought that if one could come back they most likely wouldn’t remember their past life, so you might be getting a second chance but without any foresight of former lived experiences. My mind went sideways down a random path with this one, I think. I have to keep hope in place or this world will break me.
