This is fantastic poetry writing my friend! Gritty, strong, like a shot of whiskey. Colorful, great story telling, and imagery. Great work.

Goldenmyst said it accurately. I concur wholeheartedly.
But, thunderbird? My god, man. At the least Seagrams 7 !!! LOL
This is very good writing. A bullseye on a dartboard of a swanky bar life.
Awesome.

Chère C.,
We’ve an allotment garden (edge of Amsterdam – so we’re rich) and use lavender as a separation between patches of veggies. We don’t have to (will never) use chemicals and as a bonus, all the bees in the neighbourhood love us. They set our garden in motion, because they constantly move the lavender flowers with their weight.30 meters of lavender? Easily!
You just made me think of all the lavender we’ve chopped, bound and hung in the log cabin. The whole cabin smells lovely.
How lovely that you posted this poem.
Warm regards, Gus -
