    Wicked Trilogy

It would seem that we have a situation, and I don’t know what I look forward to more.. You helping me out, or me helping you out, or a little self-gratification? Such delicious temptation… I will take it anyway that I can get it.. It starts with...

    Last Respects

The funeral On the morning of the funeral, I awoke drenched in sweat before daylight, dreaming about Dan. We were in the back bedroom at his grandmother's house. I was perusing the family pictures crowded on the wall, cornered into...

    • Thanks, Mary. Thanks for following this along. I may leave it alone for a while. It’s not a bad stopping point, though ‘crazy’ never ends.

    • Boldly penned, Meg. Phenomenal work my friend. Appreciate you.

    • very hot. Superb.

    • Well, Dear Meg….👏🌺💛🌺💖🌺💙🌺🍷🏆

I’m sooo glad you’ve finally woke-up and realized you’d had enough of Dan’s flagrant utilization and disrespect of your deliciously lovely self … though, I’m not forgetting, either, how rapturously, shamefully horny you were in pursuing his sensational manly attributes … annnd, HOW – ohhh-MY!!!!

There’s absolutely no doubting your alluring skill with a pen in captivating and holding your lucky readers’ every fibers’ enchanted attention … and, no telling what you had us, er – all them, doing outside the screen, either.

“Brillianty perfect” is the permanently embossed tag I’ve molded into your sultry frame, from this day forth. Your “Slut Wife Confessions” series I’ll ever remember as one of those rare events that deeply and completely touched each and every aspect of my nature and senses, as a writer and a man.

Thank you, Darling Authoress, for making of me a hopelessly incurable fan and you an idol!

You Smell So Good Like Wilted Petals

You bloom at dusk...  just as the dead should. Your wilted scent  and bittersweet aroma... an echo of what was ours... nostalgia of what was lost.   A hauntingly beautiful scent, indeed! Then these stormy mornings  bring gentle mournings... when your grace has decayed! Your wilted petals now  blush in love...

    • Daniel,
There’s something about your work just does it for me…It’s always so haunted, so beautiful in, dare I say a morbid way.
It’s achingly beautiful and resonates deeply within me. I’m a huge fan.

      • Gawdess, thank you! It’s my pleasure, and hopefully as well for other readers. I’m honing my skills towards the gothic genre with a surreal twist. It seems to be turning out good, haha. I’m focusing more on gothic stories now. Again, thank you!

    • You’ve gotta give yourself more credit, Damian.
The last lines indeed suppressed my own voracious appetite. The last stanza is my favorite.

      • Thanks so much for reading and your kind words, P.G. So glad you connected with the write my friend. Nice, to see you again. I was pretty confident till the end. lol. It took me awhile to get the flow right, I had went through so many ideas that were cool but wasn’t working right. So though these lines worked I wasn’t sure, but from all the support in the comments, I chose wisely. lol. Appreciate you.

        Damian

    • That’s razor-sharp and sinuous—like a poem with fangs. The alliteration of “verbal viper” and “voracious appetite” creates a rhythmic coil of menace and desire, as if the speaker’s confronting a charmer who cloaks cunning beneath sweetness. The image of truth dangling just out of reach—“suspending the obvious”—gives this a wicked elegance.

      • Thanks so much for reading and your kind words, PAR. So glad you connected with the write my friend. The words you used to describe this piece in your eyes was amazing, brother. That means so much to me, thank you so much. Appreciate you.

        Damian

    • Your writing has only improved with time, Damian. Your struggle with the ending paid off in a victorious way.

      Great poem/

    • hello dearest John it is very sad New Orleans is doing it’s best to recover you were fortunate to have enjoyed your time there before the storms beautiful write and your insight are not lost on me 💕

      • Thank you so much my friend and reading and really feeling my poem. New Orleans has made an amazing comeback. I haven’t been back to Mardi Gras since Katrina. But I have visited the city several times since. I miss the city. I love that city I once called home.

        John

    • New Orleans is where jazz and funk music got there start. Where second-line drumming and parades flourish, and where jazz funerals are carried out. I was sad to see what Katrina did to the french quarter. I’m sure a place like that will always come back from whatever tragedy affects it.

      • Thank you so much Tim for understanding and expressing your great empathy for the tragedy that happened to my city when Katrina came. I lived in New Orleans as a child and remember those cultural events you spoke of. New Orleans has indeed come back. Fortunately the French Quarter didn’t flood as bad as the rest of the city. It was spared the worst. I miss that city. I live seventy miles from New Orleans now. It was a diverse and culturally rich place for me to grow up.

        John
