Oh my goodness, Tim. This is just amazing… a three-way allusion. Such a beautiful interchange of reference from one to the other… withdrawal symptoms, sex, literary elements. I see the analogies melded together, the physical and emotional relationships. This is really smart. I love how you use rhyme in this piece and the second person narrative approach, which makes it more powerful. Very talented.
