I think we’re all thankful you’re here, Fia. I always try to comment on other poems when I can. That’s what makes this a community.

Hoi hoi
I love it a lot how you care for us. And thank you so much for that. But am I (being?) out of place when I ask for you to take more time to write goodies for yourself?
Think of the stewardess in a plane. They point out to first put that mask over your face and after that tend to other people.
I honestly believe the stewardess’ filosophy. And I hope that I can convince you to become a believer too. Wink wink. Please don’t forget yourself.
Warm regards, Gus -
I bow to you with gratitude for your tireless dedication to our community, dear Fia!
For many of us writing is an invaluable contribution to maintaining mental balance. Pouring out your heart in a poem or a story brings great relief and satisfaction.
I appreciate very much that you cover all topics with your writing. Literature must not be restricted in its freedom of expression!
Once again, thousands of thanks for all your efforts and your marvelous poetry, my friend! -
With gratitude and appreciation, I thank you for all that you do and are, Fia. Fearless and honest, your writing inspires us to share parts of ourselves we might otherwise shove aside, forgotten. Thank you, my friend!

Due to my feral childhood, manners were late being learned. So now I’m a relic from another time who opens doors for people and always says please and thank you. As it applies to writing, I always appreciate it when someone takes the time to read and comment on my work, and will always thank them. Your fine poem is much food for thought, and I embrace every word.

Peace to you Fia. You’ve been the core of this site. Your determination, passion and love for poetry, writing and the community here, does not go unnoticed. Keep up the great work you’ve done here on starsrite.

That’s how I feel. Poetry is our voice. So many people don’t use that voice or give it up. I know it can get discouraging but it can help someone. Also it just feels good to get those feelings out regardless of subject.
Wonderful write.

I said I don’t do this. poems that behave
that count their beats and beg to sound profound
but here I am the fool you couldn’t save
all rhyme and reason. love still hangin roundI hate this form. it’s polished. cold. confined
like scrubbin blood just so it stains again
I tell myself to leave your heart behind
but every line just drags…Read More -

Hoi hoi
Love this one.I went to a lezzie bar (one of the first in Amsterdam) with a lady friend of mine. It wasn’t really common for a guy to be there and my bum was lovingly slapped by some of the women on their way to the loo.
That’s why I know that there is always something going on in the loo.
My idea for you would be to drink a little less and love a little more. Love as in making love.
And never give up trying for happiness and very good writes….But hey, it’s only me. I read your writes no matter what.
Kind regards, Gus
