I don’t come here often Brenda but once in awhile a poem will come to me and I pen it. Sometimes I get excited that I actually wrote something again. On DUP they came fast and furious but now I have to wait for the magic to appear.

I’m finding it more difficult to get away from real life and its problems that grab me by the arm and pull me away.

I stole that solitude line from a poem I wrote on DUP. Solitude is a remarkable life quotient. Grab it when you feel it and cherish it …

Those little moments captured seem so simple but they can be quite profound. I haven’t walked a dog in years, but there’s a peacefulness to it that I still remember. Neither of my remaining granny cats would ever submit to a walk. Drop over like cadavers if you put a harness on them. Cats…

I love the quiet of the dawn.
Very few people out.
Mostly joggers, people walking their dogs and and nurses going to work.

Poems sometimes come to me on these walks.

Personally I think it’s my best poem DUP ceased operations ….
