Awww, M.E but where is the fun in that? All good things come with a little temptation and a walk on the dark side.. ☺️ But in all honesty I also thought of Medusa in that line.. because I have a hard on for her and other beauties of the mythological history. Angel, thank you. To be honest, sometimes I’ll start a poem and have absolutely no idea where I’m going with it. But this piece particularly flowed effortlessly because those exact sirens came to mind. I wanted to capture their alluring nature and present it in this poem in the form of a woman, because we know just how tempting we can be. I appreciate your kind words. xx
