I had to read this twice… the first was in the dark… then I switched on the light and read it again… wow .. you always make things difficulty amazing… your writing is just just… amazing… and you make me forget words… I only remember amazing

Thank you so much for your kind comment, Sam. I have released a book book (a book that lends itself to being read in the old style by the hearth of a cosy fire, flicking pages as opposed to flicking ebook screens): Hearts & Minds written from a male perspective by Daniel Furl. Unbelievably, for me, you, us writers, I’m venturing out of my shell, selling the book (others, too) at leisure centres and village craft markets! The opening part, Trains, has railway-mad Daniel, aged 10 narrating his early life, spotting trains. It leads into Chasing Trains, mysterious and dark! The perfect fit. I’ll message you about posting the cover here, I’ll donate! Harriet-Jacqui xx

Interesting piece. Bugs and fans…😊

Powerfully penned, Bat. Another excellent write with deep layers my friend. Can’t believe I missed this one. Amazing read as always. Hope all is well in your neck of the woods. Appreciate you.

Powerfully penned, Willow. Another excellent write with deep layers of emotion and honest storytelling my friend. This one hits harder than a freight train. I concur with everyone above. You took this one to another level. Outstanding read as always. Appreciate you, Sis.

You can feel desperation and perseverance in every line. Simply stunning.

Thank you, Peter

Thank you, Light 💕

Excellent. Obviously I enjoy story poems the most. It’s in the way it brings the real world into something we all can sense too.
Life is like that, and so writing can be a journal of experience too. This write fills that niche really well.
You are hitting them out of the park a bunch!

This flows like a cascading waterfall.
So much power in each line that it pushes into the next.
Just wow.

I love that you chose a positive message to write of. There is never enough of that. So thank you! And the write is well crafted, full of inspiring lines to lift the reader up. Great idea and great result, Fia.

Great thoughtful writing Fia.

This does have a positive feel to it.
You never know, sometimes acknowledging someone who’s struggling could impact their day in a positive way.
One could only hope!

I think that too often people know it’s a mask, but they want to believe it’s reality. Because having to see what makes them uncomfortable is more than they’re willing to take on. So we paste on the smile and say we’re fine, and they eagerly choose to believe it so they don’t have to acknowledge the truth. I love that the message in this is to see beyond the surface
