Bless You dear Light💕.. this little scribble was conceived within moments of my being told the young lady in question was going to have a baby .. it’s an old poem now .. a bit like me 😎⭐💛🌻👍

I snickered and thought unclean thoughts like a school boy when first read, completely missing the lady’s age, sidelined, as I was, by the niceties behind that dress. Now aware that she might not be young and that I’m no longer 12, my motor is still revving. Summer dresses are just so fine!

Splinters of glass when they catch the light, have their own unique splendour. A fraction of the whole and yet they too shine. They too are of value. Stained glass windows are magnifique, as is this poem Neville.

Not easy navigating a new site, taking it slowly, but WC is virtually on life support Neville. Couldn’t access it for weeks. All good wishes to you and yours.

Well I’m no ornithologist, but I think I’m usually woken up by pigeons. I doubt that’s quite as nice as being woken by doves but it still has its charms. This was so simple but really helped create the scene.

I had two nests of mourning doves outside my bedroom window twice in one year. To hear that cooing they do, is absolutely one of the most melodious sounds I have ever heard. It was so wonderful to watch them gather material for their little home in a trellis. I was fortunate to get some really good shots of both parents and babies close up, without a flinch of movement. They beautiful birds, so underrated. I have the photos posted at the WC on my profile page if you’d like to see them! Much enjoyed the read, and seeing you here, Nev. Take care!

I love the imagery in this. And the sense of last blast desperation to live in the moment. Welcome to the Stars

In my opinion, if we made it through the heat and humidity of summer. We will make it through Autumn… yet, we can’t deny how Autumn inspires sentimental feelings. I read this as a lullaby of Autumn, there is sadness as there is hope, there is doubt yet there is freedom… Good Morning dear Neville 🌻
