    We Delve

Falling onto the softest cloud As a gentle whisp of air glides over my skin The deepest depth of color I sink into Not wanting to surface     Gentling of a night of intimacy Not rushed but urgent all the same Exchanges of audible sounds Heralding the...

    • We had to change our original comment in recognition of your ability to say bodies slapping in an acceptable way. Hahaha, on the for real Lady we love it, it makes us think of slow love. Tight

    • This drifts between tenderness and urgent intensity, capturing the physical and emotional in a way that’s intimate without being flashy. I love how the language makes the body feel like both terrain and vessel, with every moment earned and alive.

      • Thank you so much. Its not easy to write subtitles and take a person on a journey. Its a skill. Lol

    • Passionately penned, Fia. Excellent write, you always deliver the goods my friend. Appreciate you, cuz.

      Damian

      • Thank you, cuz, I want to write more of these but being upfront with what you want is perfect too

    • Chère F.,
You are being rather harsh on yourself, labelling this as 17. Or you are living in a different part of the world.

This kind of love making I learned/learnt from another beautiful lady.
I can only hope that I can get you to rub off on me the way to describe it the way you do.
This is almost French by nature. You can get away with most everything, as long as you mind your language.

Needless to say I love it to bits!
      Warm regards, Gus

      • Thank you, I called it We Delve not 17. lol Thank you for appreciating the subtlety of the poem.(almost French huh;))

    • Chère C.,
On DUP my nom de plume was Jilted Johnny.
Not practical, because on SoundCloud the seemed to be somebody with the same name.
I like it that you use Jilted in this very beautiful new poem of yours.

Love it a lot. The artwork too.
      An awful lot.
      Warme groeten, Gus

    • Cleverly penned, Amethyste. Excellent write, I enjoy your observations my friend. Nicely done. Appreciate you.

      • Thank you Damian for being present in my blogs. It is very important for me. Have a great day.

    • I love the way this lingers on curiosity and small wonder, questioning the human need for beauty in a world that often feels void. There’s a quiet fascination here, observing what we cherish and why, without judgment—just attentive, almost tender.

      • Thank you Thomas. These are deep voices in my head that would have been lost and forgotten if I had not inked them. I often used to have such thoughts as for now I am not in the poetic mode much and I miss it. I have said it before and I am saying it again, I am a regular reader of your poetry and I like it a lot.
