• The Perfect Gift

It's Christmas eve.And we are about to receive.Gifts from loved ones all. Gifts we love, gifts we admire. That make us feel whole.A gift with a lot of thought is what I needed. I asked her ,what would you like? She said, happiness for my...

  • Black Poem of Human Bankruptcy

The universe opened in silencebut humankind brought the noise.Among the stars it rose like a plagueand the cosmos trembled before its shadow. Luffaf, word of condemnation, echoes in the abysses without return.Lavvernoskan, the name of ruin, engraved on the walls of time.Sistumbrr,...

      • I felt that using those 3 non-existing words would make it more of an objective impact, so I forged them… it worked. Thank you for being there. I wish you the best for 2026. Big Hug my dear Damian.

    • I love it, Paulo. It is such a strong, foreboding write. You don’t write fluffy bunnies stuff, you write blood and stone. I can always count on you to boost my blood pressure when I’m in a lull. Thank you for this one

    • I’m not sure, but those who make it to old age tend to come to a calm acceptance. It is the end of the journey, and perhaps for some the battle. Yet, those who do make it that far should see it as a blessing. So many do not get that far.
Life is half attitude, really. Find the good, even if small. It’s there.

    • Powerfully penned, Peter. Excellent write my friend. I concur with Mark, getting older there is a calm acceptance that takes place. For me it was recognizing my mortality, and realizing if I didn’t change my perspective I was going to die miserable or suddenly. Or worse yet, both. I can relate my friend but there is a blessing in figuring out that changing the lens helps a lot. We all go through this you’re definitely not alone. Appreciate you.
