Sit still a moment
let the world loosen its grip.
No clocks, no names,
only the hush between two heartbeats.
Close your eyes as one closes a door
against the wind, gently,
and the breath arrives
like a tide that knows your shore.
In, out
the lungs become twin seas,
rising, falling,
writing their slow blue poetry inside you.
Calm spreads like warm light
through the ribs,
a quiet republic where nothing is demanded.
Sounds pass like birds
that do not ask for nests.
Scents bloom, then vanish
brief flowers with no desire to stay.
Do not gather them.
Do not own them.
Let the world happen without your hands.
Here, time undresses itself.
The past releases its ashes,
the future forgets its promises.
There is only this
the burning clarity of Now,
wide as the sky,
intimate as breath,
alive and sufficient,
like love that needs no tomorrow.
And again.
Sit still for a few moments,
no noise,no distractions.
Close your eyes gently,
focus softly on the breath.
Feel the rhythm,
in and out.
Feel the calmness.
Hear things, smell things but
don’t cling to them.
In that moment
there are no other moments.
No past.
No future.
Just the Now
