    • Why wouldn’t he last? Being on his own for too long?

      • You are asking a 14 year old boy such difficult questions…. Remember I wrote this when I was merely 14… after so many years I still do not have an answer

    • Intense read. I feel it.
      Regards

    • A tender, tragic truth about wanting freedom before you’re ready to bear its weight. Thought-provoking writing from a 14-year-old boy, Sam. Hope you’re having a lovely day. 🙂

      • no unfortunately I’m not 14 years old anymore…. although I would not want to be… wasn’t a good time for me then… as you can feel from this poem I wrote when I was 14… but thank you for your comment Ms. Grace

    Where One Begins

Come close,   beneath your nearness and the warmth of my skin, until neither of us knows where one begins.   Your mouth finds my neck, then pauses there, a whisper of heat caught softly in air.   I feel your restraint before I feel your hand, the softest tension I can barely withstand.   It...

    • ooo… this is good … very sensual and intense

      • Thank you, Sam. I’m glad the sensuality and intensity came through. Sometimes a little mystery makes the journey all the more interesting. 😉

    • Chère G.,
Come close, a better and more inviting intro has not be written so far.
      What a beauty you’ve made.

And the final four sentences are the cherry on the cake.
      Love it to bits!
      Warm regards, Gus

    • Gus, what a lovely thing to say. I’m so glad the opening drew you in, and the ending stayed with you. Thank you for reading so thoughtfully and for your wonderfully warm words. 🙂

Written on an Airplane Waste bag

I’m a-ship sailing the sea In time I don’t know where I’ll be.   Where roads put me I don’t know Time my heart will let me show.   I see a storm coming my way Where will it strike one day?   The muse of the ocean...

    Darkness Doesn't Fade

    • willow… wow… when I heard this its as if I was sitting on that porch listening to the the story… amazing

    • Beautiful. I love this. Powerful. Vivid and sharp.

    • First off, the rhyme scheme is on point. I can tell you really had to pull some crafty words to make the rhyme and tempo stay true. You succeeded. The story within is great, it follows through well and ends with a great mood.
      Awesome Willow.

    • I just listened to the recording! The music matched the tone of your write perfectly.
Even the voice! I’m all for letting go of dead weight in any write. Nicely done:)

    • Powerfully penned, Willow. Another excellent write that exercises demons while telling this tale of survival my friend. The music sets the mood as the voice delivers the truth while speaking your words with precision. Goosebumps on this one. Amazing read/listen as always. Appreciate you, Sis.
