Beautifully penned, Fia. Excellent write my friend, and a heartfelt message that spreads good cheer to all. Happy New Year cuz! May 2026 be a prosperous journey in life and creativity for us all and as a community. Appreciate you, cuz.

A collection of lost pens arrived here. A community was borne of that collective. It takes many stars to light the skies, and many kinds. Happy New Year!

I’m glad you are here and in charge, Fia. This turned out to be a great site. May all who visit this star leave with a wish to always come back again.

I love how this starts as a simple falling rock and transforms into a star carrying a message. There’s a sweet, gentle wonder in your lines, and I like the way you celebrate all the shades of life while tipping a hat to Stars Rite. It feels heartfelt and luminous—like a small gift to readers.

Your words convey a valuable message, and with poetic flair. How admirable, too, that you include us all.
-
Without you Fia, this place would be like many other poetry sites…BORING! You’ve done so well with creating and giving your all into starsrite. May your 2026 be a healthy & happy one! xo

You help make it worthwhile, dear Fia. Your efforts are noticed and appreciated. As well as your creative additions.
Happy New Year!

A song played on a radio, as a teen-aged girl dreams of that secret crush she has. I’m sure that this lyrical gem has been played for so many young women, and men. It’s called a crush because thats what it feels like in our chests, huh!

Chère F.,
Every time I discover more reasons to love your write to bits.
And this is also such an event.
At the end of your poem, you offer a possibility to choose. Simply wonderful, but it reminds me of a song I once wrote. A long long time ago. And its title is Bevrijdingsdag. Translated: liberation day. I wouldn’t write a song with such a title today, but that’s another story. The chorus of the song is forceful and perhaps a bit extreme. It translates like this:
You said ‘Married’ – and I said so what
I’d love to choose if I may
Don’t talk to me about divorce
Everyday’s liberation dayAnd then I asked the public:
You’ve heard it. She said ‘married’. But didn’t say who is married, so it’s up to you to choose.
– is he married
– is she married
– are they both married, but not to each otherRaise your hands!
And I would let the public decide. And I would have three songs ready to fit the decision.
A situation, prone to personal ‘colouring’. My personal colouring that is. I’m not On a stage for nothing.Yes, a bit of a long reply. But maybe an idea 💡 for if and when you’re going to do some beat poetry. The public will love you all the more for this kind of surprises. Really.
I’m a huge fan of open mic evenings; maybe I can transfer some of the excitement to you.
Other than that: keep them coming, please.Warm regards, Gus

Chère F.,
You care for us like a lover.
With calloused, no: with warm and soft hands.
And I am very grateful for this.
I wish you a blessed, happy and inspired 2026. With enough time to do other things you love.
Warm wave, warm regards, Gus
