    Depersonalization

The car crashes its nose into a snowdrift. Fine snow covers the windshield as soon as you stop the wipers. I sit silently, listening to the steady hum of the engine. And when you get lost in your own...

    • I received your friend request a few minutes ago. Before replying, I wanted to know more about you, ergo, I am here, fresh off my own bus, wondering who I am and why I am here. Your story is quite intriguing; although it is familiar to an extent, I can’t recall where I might have read a story like it before, other than something with one or two of the elements you have in this story. So how does it all fit together — in my life and in yours? Have we met before? Will we meet again or never meet at all? Well, one day, perhaps tomorrow we may know. In the now, though, I will settle for the enjoyment of what I have just read.

      • Thank you for this comment. It means the story really resonated with you. It set you on a more nuanced path of self-perception in the surrounding reality. 🙂

    Last special

Commissar Lavrukhin was in a depressed state. The waiting chilled the soul of the train chief, as did everything inside the wagons entrusted to him. The multi-ton train had been standing still for five days now, frozen in the...

    Neurocapsule

Autumn is arriving all around. It strips the apple trees in the garden bare. It gilds the rowan trees in the clearings. It paints the aspens on the marshy bank with crimson hues. And even from the lake itself,...

    • Demons hang around in places, like cobwebs, if one doesn’t wipe the slate. Fantastic!

    • Whew! I love your raw, unfiltered honesty. Something about this itches my brain; I think it’s the way you stack the questions on top of one another. I feel the exhaustion and longing, and you do this without pretending to have it all figured out. Thank you for the read.

    • Great honest write PG.

Suffering , if you can survive it, will not provide answers but it will stop the questions.Keep in mind always and believe it to be so that ‘nothing is permanent’.

Keep writing until the pen runs dry.

    • Powerfully penned, PG. Excellent write my friend this was raw and authentic. I felt this, nicely done per usual. Appreciate you.

    • Our faith is believing our tomorrows will be better than our todays, nothing else. It all simply falls into place when we remove negativity, invert all sadness with the quickness. Tight
