    • IDK, the world doesn’t care about any of us. It just keep rolling along. Don’t you think it is up to us to care about feelings? About the feelings of others, about how we relate to the world, all life, and the people who inhabit it? In this sense, you are not a “glitch” but an integral part of everything around you.

I realize this is one part of a larger story (Chapter 17) and I have not as yet read all the chapters, so my comment may be way off base. If so forgive me. But I personally think we all are like stones cast on calm water and the ripples we leave affect the world around us. So, we are all “glitches”. Besides, Amethyste as a crystal is a warm calming stone so those feelings may be some warmth cast into this cold, cold, cold world.

Thanks for your chapter, hope I didn’t over step.

    • Only a human cares about other human feelings. We make our own distracted universe. But it is isolated.

    A Poem

A Poem   oo0oo   Dream like, innuendo breathes deep moving slowly in a heart beat. And then you said, ‘Hi’. Reality flowed quickly from a dream.   What is a dream but a shadow roaming the mind. Illusive, like fire in a red dress dancing bare foot to music only you...

    • This is sweet with a touch of trouble. “Red Dress” Nice

    • Hi Curt,

I really enjoyed this – it has such a dreamy, floating quality, I love how it moves from the soft, floating imagery of dreams into the sudden jolt of reality. “And then you said,” ‘Hi.’” The image of a dream as “fire in a red dress dancing barefoot” is striking and memorable. It feels like a brief, beautiful moment where fantasy and reality touch. Dreams inspire me. This piece resonates with me

      • Exactly RomaJ. Thank you. If I remember correctly, this dream woke me up. Unfortunately, there was no “reality” of her dancing in a red dress, barefoot or otherwise. Oh well. Dreams do inspire. It inspired this poem. Thanks again for your kind words and visit.

    • This is somewhat like Déjà vu to me. Something kind of jolts you, but in a way, you’ve felt it before.

      • To be honest, I was roaming through some of my notebooks and found this poem. So in one sense, yes, there was some Deja vu involved. But it was a dream I had back then (2009) that found its way on paper.

Thank you, Tim, for your comment and perspective on this poem.
