ChĆØre S.,
Ahhhhh, you did it again!
Painting with Words!
And I love the artwork too.
Prompt writing?
Anyway, I forget the reasoning so I can immerse myself in this warm bath.

Wonderful. You never let us down, as readers. This one is a great example of your fluid rhymes, with a powerful message carried consistently throughout it. Awesome, Elke.

Talking to trees, and listening to their replies, to their wisdom, is one way to understanding how all life is connected, intertwined, in a fundamental way. It is how we become more humane and how we find love. I think your poem is a testament to this, Elke.

Yes indeed, all of life is deeply interconnected. All living beings are deeply dependent on one another. Whatever happens to one species has affects on the whole planet. E.g trees have a well functioning communications system. They warn each other of danger; if it serves the well-being of the entire forest, they even help their competitors.
ā thank you very much for your meaningful comment dear Curt! 🌲😊

Kind of story I come back from sun basking in Gran Canaria for! Superb writing, Fia, and much enjoyed.

Heart-warming and affectionate piece.
Emotionally unraveling throughout.
Iām glad it had a sweet, happy ending.
I had a feeling that disaster might strike, but instead all safe and well. x
