Powerfully penned, Keith. Incredible write my friend. I remember when he was on the talk show circuit, J.J. Burton and I cut school one day and it happened to be on so we watched it. lol. I can’t remember which host it was but know I saw it. Appreciate you.

He was publicizing his violent legacy in 1992-1993 on national tv. At this point he was touring with his brother who formed a band called the Murder Junkies. I almost had a chance to see them live in 1993 at a hole in the wall club called the Gas Station in NYC. It was that evening after the show where he went with friends to a party. That night he overdosed and died.
You can find some of the footage of that show and the riot that GG created afterwards on Youtube. Thanks Damian.

I am thoroughly tickled… mostly because, I’m a girl who loves her bacon! Lol one of my guilty pleasures. Great poem with just the right amount of humor. Love it. xx

Brilliantly penned, Thomas. Excellent write my friend. The seductive spider that calls you back again, to seek more of the elixir that feels like home, only to start the cycle over again. Your an incredible storyteller brother who knows how to paint a picture. Appreciate you.

Superb contrast between the innocent vulnerable hapless victim and the absinthe and the thieving whore. God, you’re on fire, Thomas.

Like Jenny from Forest Gump; perhaps she can be reformed. LOL.
Your prose is spot on. The descriptive elements set a shadowy stage, highlights are found in the wording.
Great atmospheric build.

Not a huge fan of punk rock, but I’ve heard of GG Allin, his performances and how they were unforgettable. I’d say this ode to him was spot on. xx
