I love how this poem blends cosmic imagery with the deeply personal act of creation. The idea of writing with stars, leaving luminous fingerprints on an infinite slate, beautifully captures the timelessness and universality of poetry. It feels both expansive and grounded, as if the cosmos and the earth are woven together through the poet’s words.

Sometimes when I listen to music it gives me images and I was listening to The Black Keys the song was called Little Black Submarines. It inspired everything for this write!

My current apartment in the ghetto in Buffalo, NY is safer with my living alone – than any place I lived with family. Neighbors keep an appropriate distance BUT A WATCHFUL EYE! Community is sometimes safer than family.

Such a rich and layered piece. I love how it drifts like a dream, full of texture and sensation. The imagery feels both mysterious and intimate, especially in the way it moves from silence into warmth.

This is such a deeply moving piece. You take us there & there is a breathtaking place. I’m a sucker for dew-laden grass in the mornings.

I could see this printed within a book. It’s just the right amount of personal note along with staying on a creative writing avenue. It’s mature (educated) yet intoxicating.
