Hello John,
Your description here captures the atmosphere so perfectly. Your detail is always so razor sharp. Nice work.

Your poem puts me in the mood of sailing and travel, the image of a sailor who is watching and expressing the scenes, keeping it in his head because soon it will only be a memory. There is sadness going along all the lines. Emotionally written.

Thank you so much Light for your heartfelt reflections on my poem. Your impressions of my words here are deeply appreciated. Love your interpretation of the mood within my words. Indeed there is a depth of understanding in your thoughts and the feelings my poem inspired for you that really feels right. Deep gratitude.

Inspiration can come from many places, but to be able to create something like this is exceptional, John. Great poem with creative images. 🙂

Sam, I hope you’ve learned your lesson! Maybe invest in a calendar? Lol, God forbid you forget an anniversary. 😉 Great read, just enough to get the blood pumping.

Love this one a lot. Really good write.
The corners of my mouth have a will of their own and keep on turning up.Did you ever considerate writing a song to the accompaniment of slamming doors?
If you are not going to do it, I will.
Well, honestly someone’s got to do it huh?I’ll be on the look out for your next.
Kind regards, Gus -

Hoi hoi
Love this one.I went to a lezzie bar (one of the first in Amsterdam) with a lady friend of mine. It wasn’t really common for a guy to be there and my bum was lovingly slapped by some of the women on their way to the loo.
That’s why I know that there is always something going on in the loo.
My idea for you would be to drink a little less and love a little more. Love as in making love.
And never give up trying for happiness and very good writes….But hey, it’s only me. I read your writes no matter what.
Kind regards, Gus
