      The Wedding

Oh, come to me my love in the bluest of the night sky   The stars are in jubilation of our union The depth and swells of the ocean Rise in approval   Oh, come and not fear The strength of the lightening as our hands touch   The...

      unsigned horizon

“unsigned horizon”     The horizon stays unsigned, a gray span that won’t take a mark. The raft holds by its own inward pull, nothing formal keeping it together. No place for the shore to grab hold, no cut in the wood for a hook to turn it...

      Quiet as a Church Mouse

~roar~  it always begins: again, rusty tongs clutching a wet worm suctioned from the womb through the dustof an earthly tomb by red hands into blue crownslearning to hide from the haunter of the dark  a divine spark ceding shrilly echoes maintaining stern remembrance of misplaced lessons and an unforgiven foolishness puncturing...

      • The way you structured the poem it looks calm then increases with intensity just to calm down again. There is so many twists and turns in one life that it is impossible to get the nuance of it. Between the government and the churches and the societal acceptance of things that should not be accepted. Very interesting write

      • This one hits like a freight train of memory, madness, and raw observation—gritty, sprawling, alive with every sense screaming at once.
I love how it doesn’t just tell a story; it drags you through the chaos of life, pain, and revelation, leaving you dazzled and unsettled in the best possible way.

      All I'm Asking

Another spirt in a quagmire Selling off dignity just to get by Inflated egos that conspire Adding layers to a perpetual lie   Sycophants always fall in line Empty vessels lacking a spine   This world so full of sorrow Throwing obstacles in the way All I’m asking of...

        • I like how this feels angry and tenderly thought at the same time. I like that hopefulness in the dark

      • Damian the fire in the eyes of those zealous followers of the pied piper elevated to guru status is painted in your poem with fire and smoke. Truly a smoking great poem that is as strong emotionally as it is rhythmically. You have real talent my friend.

      • I don’t think I’ve seen subterfuge used in poetry before and you made it fit and feel perfect.
I think many of us are feeling the same way, especially with the way the world is going.
        Excellent write sir.
