    • So, you are saying our task is to follow ourselves. Nice. Welcome to Stars Rite.

      • Thank you Fia! At least its a call to step cautiously and with intent, more aware of our iniquities.

    • Thank you for the warm welcoming Fia
You are not wrong about your assertion. In addition- I would say we have to see our faults and try to be aware “to not fall inside”

    • Short, cute, deep — as are our holes. I have surely fallen in my own, many times, and struggled to climb out. Then I fell into a massive one, which I will never escape. But that’s okay, it’s just my wife, and we have been deep in each other for more than 33 years. Nice stuff, Brad.

      • Thank you FlatDaddy. yes You get it very well. They will exist because of our will, but we are to fight against it!

        • Oh, Brad, whatever must we do if we do not wish to fight? Sometimes a peaceful conjoining can lead to better things. Two holes are better than one, in our case; it has become a tunnel of love, ever leading from one to the other.

    • hello dearest Brad you are very clever I like the way you think ❤️

    Bumpy Wheel

As usual, I grab the wrong grocery cart and go bumpity-bumpity down the aisle. Maybe there's a wad of gum or something stuck to a wheel. I bend down to see. A jelly bean! For goodness sake! For the prices Piggly Wiggly charges,...

    • I enjoyed how this came full circle.
It started with an irritating bumpy grocery car wheel then at the end he didn’t care about his dented rim.
It’s symbolic because it shows movement your write. How your day can start out mundane but end on a high note.
      I enjoyed the read:)

    • Thank you so much. I’m glad you enjoyed it.

    • I go through the same dilemma with the shopping carts, Sam. I always get the one that feels like there’s an earthquake commencing. How funny! I loved how you allowed your reader to follow through your excursion from aisle to aisle, frozen foods and pink toenails. What a gem. Much enjoyed…and I love this photo of you, too!

    • Thank you, Kelly. There are the ones that won’t steer straight, also. I tell my single 34 year-old son to spend more time at the grocery store.
