WOW! I’m honored and lost for words. Your exquisite brilliance in this piece, captures exactly what I try to write and express. Thank you Elke for this wonderful tribute. xxoxx

Beautifully penned, Elke. Amazing tribute to Keith, you really captured his essence my friend. He definitely deserves the honor he’s a stand up guy from the neighborhood. From what he commented above I think he approves. Nicely done. Appreciate you .

A powerful ode to the role of the writer as witness, critic, and humanist. Clear-eyed, generous, and thoughtfully constructed.

Dear S,
Wonderful tribute and great reminder to spotlight the good in renewing that all is not lost in human kindness.
To me, it takes a kind soul to write about a kind soul. Lovely piece. H🌷

hello Broken One this made me sad…I was thinking earlier that I go along thinking I’m kind until I look at my relationships and realize how mean I can be and I do feel guilty thought provoking write ❤️

Dear K,
This’ll learn them. You forget me I forget you. I’m just kidding…sort of. For me, the heartfelt under current of a relationship shift is prevalent in the write, and we carry these slights forever whether there’s forgiveness or not. I really appreciated this poem. H🌷

This is excellent! It reminds me of the saying
Never let them see you sweat.
For me that applies to determination. To simply refuse to be taken for granted.
Love this! -
hello lovely Broken One I feel I missed out on something in you it so hard for me to connect with people… I would hope I could make you feel special always great write ❤️

Dear K,
Ouch. The sting in this write was an eye opener. It made me feel how much I’d dislike feeling exposed and minimized. I’m sorry if the event is personal history and not the use of metaphor but this is a succinct poem of how vulnerable we can be. Great piece. H🌷
