    • hello lovely Fia I know you are here for us…I comment a lot and people are responding…at du for a long time I was unpopular because of my schizo episodes and really I couldn’t help it…you would think I woudn’t write duringn those periods but oh no not me lol… thank you dear lady ❤️

    • I think we’re all thankful you’re here, Fia. I always try to comment on other poems when I can. That’s what makes this a community.

    • We all need you Fia… we all need one another… still you are one of a kind

    • Passionately penned, Fia. I always dig your musings my friend. Thank you for everything you do for our community. Appreciate you, cuz.

    • Hoi hoi
I love it a lot how you care for us. And thank you so much for that.

But am I (being?) out of place when I ask for you to take more time to write goodies for yourself?

Think of the stewardess in a plane. They point out to first put that mask over your face and after that tend to other people.
I honestly believe the stewardess’ filosophy. And I hope that I can convince you to become a believer too. Wink wink.

      Please don’t forget yourself.
      Warm regards, Gus

      • No you are not Gus. I do have to schedule more time to write. It has been calling to me and I had to put it on the back burner. I love to write and post. I appreciate you, my friend.

    • I bow to you with gratitude for your tireless dedication to our community, dear Fia!
For many of us writing is an invaluable contribution to maintaining mental balance. Pouring out your heart in a poem or a story brings great relief and satisfaction.
I appreciate very much that you cover all topics with your writing. Literature must not be restricted in its freedom of expression!
Once again, thousands of thanks for all your efforts and your marvelous poetry, my friend!

    • With gratitude and appreciation, I thank you for all that you do and are, Fia. Fearless and honest, your writing inspires us to share parts of ourselves we might otherwise shove aside, forgotten. Thank you, my friend!

    • Due to my feral childhood, manners were late being learned. So now I’m a relic from another time who opens doors for people and always says please and thank you. As it applies to writing, I always appreciate it when someone takes the time to read and comment on my work, and will always thank them. Your fine poem is much food for thought, and I embrace every word.

    • Peace to you Fia. You’ve been the core of this site. Your determination, passion and love for poetry, writing and the community here, does not go unnoticed. Keep up the great work you’ve done here on starsrite.

    • That’s how I feel. Poetry is our voice. So many people don’t use that voice or give it up. I know it can get discouraging but it can help someone. Also it just feels good to get those feelings out regardless of subject.

      Wonderful write.

    • Sweet descriptive piece with hints of longing

      • Thanks so much my friend. This lady was singing old jazz songs at the coffee shop today. She was my muse.

      • Gracias Damian. Thank you so much for reading and your appreciation of both me and my poetry.

    • Your poem puts me in the mood of sailing and travel, the image of a sailor who is watching and expressing the scenes, keeping it in his head because soon it will only be a memory. There is sadness going along all the lines. Emotionally written.

      • Thank you so much Light for your heartfelt reflections on my poem. Your impressions of my words here are deeply appreciated. Love your interpretation of the mood within my words. Indeed there is a depth of understanding in your thoughts and the feelings my poem inspired for you that really feels right. Deep gratitude.

    • Tremendous work. Powerful writing.

    • Inspiration can come from many places, but to be able to create something like this is exceptional, John. Great poem with creative images. 🙂

      • Deep gratitude my friend. Very glad you enjoyed this offering of mine. Much appreciated. Indeed the chanteuse who inspired this poem was an exceptional inspiration. 🙂

        John
