I like what I do, but it is quite maddening to spend so much time at work. And really with work it’s all you work and hope to have a good day and maybe it will or maybe it will be shitty. Just feels so repetitive after awhile. Some days I just want to run off screaming.

It is not the work itself. It is how we are perceived of what we do.An economist for example does not become friend with someone that works at client service. Let alone have him a lover. We are percieved as work and that is quiet disturbing.

I have a collection of driftwood here with me. Because I couldn’t get over the beauty of something untethered just floating along, becoming weather & all the more beautiful for its age & travels. This one made me smile
