Thanks so much for reading, Paula. This write is just an observation, it’s not about left or right, blue or red, donkey or elephant to me. It’s more good vs. evil in my opinion. It’s about wealthy vs. poor. Most politicians are owned by someone, a corporation, a wealthy 1% family. Sure I used the word leftist, but it can be whatever at the end of the day. But that was the flavor I was going for was money and power equals no accountability. Appreciate you.

Damian great write but the buffoons that run the world aren’t listening.
Too busy making money by any means possible.
Lies have become the truth and truth lies.
Orwell saw it coming.-
Thanks so much for reading and your kind words, Peter. So glad you connected with the write my friend. I agree they aren’t listening, and making billions. We’re going to have Trillionaire’s soon, corruption is all that’s trickling down in the end. It is topsy-turvy, everything has been turned on it’s head. Appreciate you.

It doesn’t surprise me that rich people try to screw over the poor. What surprises me is how many people are so happy to get screwed while complaining that they have hard lives. They want war. They want blood because some people disagree or just tell them reality. It’s wild.

Song: Absolutely Sweet Marie
When there’s so words of my own to describe something I go back to the Master
That’s happening a lot lately …

I believe this one will only continue to become more relevant as long as they wealthy hold the keys to freedom. Unfortunately. An reverse Robin Hood situation we got going on. I swe things happening & quietly write down my suspicion on their next crime. I wish I wasn’t right so often. And you…prophet. I hope it’s not too late & the scales can still be tipped, my friend

Thanks so much for reading and your kind words, Willow. So glad you connected with the write my friend. I couldn’t agree with you more. It is Robin Hood in reverse. The world has gone all topsy-turvy lately, the lines are blurred. I wish I wasn’t right so often, actually I would loved to be proved wrong on a lot of things. I hope so as well my friend. Appreciate you.

Well, that was an event, and I think you still did not pass that bulb since you still light up my friend. Enjoyed this piece. Oh, I do not like tomatoed based baked beans either. lol

I enjoyed this from beginning to end. I’d say your grandmother is still keeping an eye on you, my friend. She must know something…

Some of the best writing you have ever shared with us. Sensational and held my interest. Nice work Damian.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story, Damian. I love the simplistic history that makes us all humans deep down, no matter if we try to hide it.
I have very vivid memories of one of my grannies. She was a tiny firecracker. Snap a chicken’s neck and yet tend to our little boo-boos with TLC with the same hand.
Burger Chef rocked!
Wonderfully vivid write, it kept me enthralled.-
Thanks so much for reading and your kind words, Mark. So glad you enjoyed the story my friend. Cool, somebody remembers Burger Chef. lol. It is the simple things in our histories, that really show our similarities as human beings, couldn’t agree with you more. Grannies, are just different, in a good way. Appreciate you.

the innocent way her body grooves
she’s a hurricane burning radioactiveAh yes, the wicked women all men must watch out for. I’ve seen her and avoided the web though it was hard being they usually look so good and irresistible. Men’s will must be strong.
I like the entire thing and its message. I’d love to hear the music to it. It makes me ponder all the great bands out there that will probably never be heard.

Thanks so much for reading and your kind words, Tim. So glad you connected with the write my friend. Those lines are 100% mine. They are hard to stay away from, that’s it in a nutshell. There are so many great musicians out there, some bands even have followings, though they never got a record deal. It wasn’t wasted music some people loved it, that is making it in a way. Appreciate you.

Thanks so much for reading and your kind words, Fia. So glad you connected with the lyrics my friend. I think that line was mine, it could have been, Joey’s. The verses are where I’m definite. lol. I was tired of these words sitting on a hard drive, so I did something about it. lol. A wise friend of mine once said “Work is meant to be shared, to be read and heard.” I might have paraphrased a bit. lol. Thank you, Fia. I think your influence has made me see that clearly. Always learning, I am. Appreciate you.

Music, when being made, and left to people’s decisions, will always run into clashes between the makers of it. Sometimes it’s a clash of personalities, or other times some section of a song that’s causing derision. I once wrote an instrumental acoustic guitar song assuming it would go onto a CD we were making. The actual guitarist in the band used it for a limo ad he was making for a company.
Music is a spiritual thing. It’s a shame when animosity develops over it.
Good one, Damian.

Thanks so much for reading and your kind words, Tim. So glad you connected with the write my friend. That is some twisted shit to do to a bandmate. Sorry, that happened to you brother. When we were in sync, we were a really good team. Before all the manipulative games began, people change, not always for the better. Music is a spiritual thing, I agree. Thanks for sharing part of your story, Tim. Appreciate you.

When the passion is in the wrong place, nothing will ever reach the destination. I seriously with that album had come to fruition. I betcha one day he will too. Whether or not he ever acknowledges it…? What does one do when they realize they literally walked away from the talent? I would still love to have heard that album, my friend
-
Thanks so much for reading and your kind words, Willow. So glad you connected with the write my friend. I wish the album came to fruition as well. I’ve always wondered will that day come, when he realizes that he ran from his talent as well. Most of all will he realize I was his biggest supporter, that I had his back, and if he believed half as much as I did he could have had his music heard. I’m more disappointed than anything, I guess. Thank you for your commentary, and for making me feel a little better my friend. I appreciate you.
