    A Fiendish Grin

By harvest moon,  the demons came With sacks and knives, their lust profane Choosing all the golden best They tore them from their beds of rest Scarecrow dared not make a sound And hugged his post set in the ground Of the crime, he'd never...

    Before We Die

Before We Die before we die, we must be sure to read the book of longing .. maybe together under an ancient yet still white foaming quilt and with a rogue bough tapping against our well steamed up bedroom window .. for I know that you...

    Ghost Hunting

I'm one of those guys who wanders through abandoned homes notorious for their fearsome hauntings. I traipse through rooms with caution, though; the floors beneath my shoes often crackle from debris, creating a false sense of security. You see,...

    • This is good and had me laughing with the pedal to the metal.

    • Tim, this took me into the haunted rooms of that house and feeling the disquieted vibes as I read. Truly a master work of short story telling. Your descriptions of the broken window and dusty curtains made the scene come alive for me in full visual effect. As the story unfolded I enjoyed the narration and how it pulled me into the story. Truly great ghost story telling that had me fascinated unto that great ending where the message appears on his phone.

    • No I do not see you as whiner or a complainer. I see you as being introspective and know how you feel. Good work here

    • I’m admitting the title pulled me in.
This was in unexpected read. How everyday should be like Christmas. The meaning of it.
To remember to be patient and find joy in the unexpected, like NASCAR. lol
I personally think if everyone would have a sprinkle of this in their
everyday life, it would have a huge impact on your daily outlook. Life has a way of making us desensitized from
all the good around us. Like someone who says thank you and holds open the door.
      Uplifting write!

    • Adelphina referred me to this write. And also said that you look like a Santa!
Your gift to us is your emotional write here. It hollers out a plea that we all know, yet didn’t have the articulation that you did.
It’s a very entertaining write, even if full of frustration and the “is it good enough?” gift giving.
      Well thought out, and written.
