Well Neville, I met her in Autumn, married her in Winter, and we divorced in Spring…. I guess Summer was the time of contentment!? Thanks Neville, I appreciate your comment.

Love love this one… it’s one of those that flows sweetly from the heart into ours, just how love should flows. “welcome the chaos of your smile” how gorgeous this line is… expressing the bittersweet mess love can make us feel, it will stick in my head along other lines too, oh perfect poetry of love ✨💖💕 I like the song too, it fits the emotional ambiance. Thank You🤍

Hi Light. Can’t go wrong with the Moody Blues. Their music is poetry. That line came to me as I was thinking about the woman who became my true love. She left me for another, for a more “normal” life, but I still think about her.
Thanks Light, I appreciate your comments and visits muchly.

Hi and Good Evening ✨

Wishing You Happy Days 🎈

Ms. Mary, within a smile, worlds collide, kaleidoscopes swirl colors, and hearts beat faster into a blush. In other words, CHAOS!!! Who knows what would, or could have happened had those letters been sent, or words spoken? Perhaps a wonderful chaos?
Thank you, Mary. I always look forward to your visits and words.

oops didn’t mean to send that too short of a reply. I read your paper? instructions about the nature of and what constitutes a formally written English Sonnet. I am afraid I have only ever attempted one. If I can find it I will post in the “Back To Poetry Basics” group. This group was mented to me by Valuptas Whispers Unholy. and then I saw Fia’s…Read More

When I read your musing, a quote of Friedrich Nietzsche was the first thought that came to my mind: “You must have chaos inside to give birth to a dancing star. “It’s exactly the chaos, the self doubts, the questions upon questions, the deep reflections at night which give birth to a dancing star of inspirations writings and deep thoughts. Great work, dear Damian!
-
This is a good piece of musing, Damian.
This is so true
“Timid people constantly read the roomWhile they study the human psyche “

Dude, I’m not timid at all and yet I still read a room! I am extremely observant of my surroundings. It’s a crazy world yaknow!
Your write is a crowd of personalities, interesting in each of their ways. The rhyme makes it flow really well. It’s carrying a beat all its own. Well versed Damian. -
hello dearest Damian this is excellent I can relate to the searching and lonliness of not being satisfied with pat answers ❤️
-
It takes so many approaches and responses to survive these days. And not the least of which is temporary retreat and regroup. How do your pieces always seem so relevant to every moment? Prophet, I’m telling you. Keep assembling the pieces of the puzzle, my friend
-
There’s a real honesty here in the way you weave survival, wisdom, and self‑doubt into one puzzle feels deeply human. The closing admission about chaos being “demanding” hit especially true.🙏🏻🕊️
-
Reminds me of the matrix with the red and blue pill. Either face reality or live in fantasy.
Great ink friend.
-
Damian you formed this into a great poem of rumination. Very much loved the way this unfolded. So much wisdom in your words. Truly great poem my friend.

Well if you’re going to use the big E-word like that! We’re going to think the obvious. LOL
And then you put us on the guilt trip of sin once we realize it’s about a steeple of a church! You are sinister.-
-
Ironically, I was thinking of a write about sinners under the shadow of a (large) cross. I’m not sure about the religious aspect or not, just the idea of mankind doing what we do under that perceived shadow.
So we will see.
