      Where Stars Lean

You held stars in your fingersI’m sure of it,or perhaps it was just your wink  playing tricks.Do I reach for one,or claim  the whole sky?Reach if you must, but know thisstars are not souvenirs. They bruise easily  and remember the warmthof every hand that dared them closer.I watch from beyond clouds, beyond winds,from...

      Hide and seek

On some days I want to tell you everything Where I was What I did What I felt I like you seeing me And the resonance On other days I want to hide in the bathroom for hours And ignore you When you call my name.

      • taking its breath away with my passion to live
greeting the sour with the sweet
very powerful Crimsin Like this line alot

      • Powerful and deeply raw. I love how this begins with pain almost having a personality of its own, trying to seduce the speaker into surrender, but gradually turns into a declaration of survival. “Taking its breath away with my passion to live” really stood out to me—it completely reverses who holds the power. The ending beautifully captures resilience: accepting both the sour and the sweet, yet refusing to bow. 🖤

        • hello lovely poetess thank you graciously for such a giving comment…it uplifted me I was faced with my own mortality lately I didn’t know if I had the strength for a serious surgery but I did…I love life and chose to stay even given the state of things I was thinking of your poem and thinking a lot of people reason I won’t live long enough to suffer current descions but your righ our children will… beautiful work ❤️

      • You writing is powerful and if I was a person to weep easily. I would be crying. there is so much pain and suffering.

        • Unfortunately, life grows at times off of pain and suffering. Regardless if that was our plan or not. What we learn from it is all on us.

      • The circle of the streets has been going on year after year with only a few changes to show for it. But as a people we must be the ones to make a difference, accept personal responsibility and hold those accountable for their actions.
