relent

Bookmark
Summary:
death, life, fight
hideous need smiled at me
craving my pain, it desired
insulting cave I felt it in my strength

powerless seduction, I felt weak
caressing my dark I thought to rise
dressed in black cloaking my hurt

with a wild eyed expression I spy death
fighting his guile I realize I was powerful
justifying my path
it may seem fruitless to some
but needful in my view

sanctity in the ache, I resolve I would not bow
wrestling my demons I succeed to fight
taking its breath away with my passion to live
greeting the sour with the sweet
until it relent
