    love

After darkness comes light. After light, darkness again. This is the way of things.Cold turns hot,hot turns cold. This is the way of things. All that arisesfades, collapses, and is taken up againin another form. Can hate turn to love?Yes.But how?Our brains are not written...

    • hello dearest Benny lines are drawn and free speech is dangerous these days where if the tolerance and love for each other well said❤

    • If we find the root. Yes, easier said than done. I believe many prejudices we may hold come from our parents.
We are not born with them. Kids play with other kids, all other kids. And then later on as they grow older, they see and copy.
Can we ever go back to that innocence? that acceptance of everyone who is different from us?
I believe in this poem. And if we can figure it all out, maybe we can first understand ourselves and then understand and accept others. This poem sent me on a journey of introspection. Thank you.

    • This is a very powerful and meaningful writing, dear Peterl!
In my opinion, love and hatred, darkness and light and other counterparts are the two sides of the same coin. Without darkness we were not able to recognize and appreciate the light. Both sides come from the same divine source and are equally important. But it is up to us which side we want to feed energy and establish it this way. We have to BE the love and the peace we want to see in this world!

    The Bourbon Shot

    • Just love this series. I love how you keep me the reader fascinated as the dialogue unfolds with twists and turns. And the brilliant ending with JH the professor being a boxer and the JH standing for Jekyll and Hyde really made the tale into a fascinating character development of hte professor. The dialogue reads so natural with surprises at every turn.

    • I’ve always tried to hold the words “you don’t know” in the back of my mind with others. You don’t know their story, you don’t know how far they’ve fallen or how far they’ve come. You just don’t know, so don’t judge. I’ve always felt differences were beautiful. It’s what adds texture to humanity. Another fantastic write, my friend

      • Thanks so much for reading and your kind words, Willow. So glad you connected with the write my friend. I agree, when one doesn’t know, all they can do is assume. Assumption is the mother of all fuck ups! In my honest opinion. Differences are what makes each of us unique, I embrace that. Always dig your commentary. Appreciate you.

    • Our differences spice up and beautify our lives. They offer a wonderful opportunity to learn more about this world and all its varieties.
Even if it is about the topic you absolutely don’t agree, don’t judge or hate. This makes the situation even worse. Try to stay open-minded and compassionate instead and your mind will be free to find the best solution.
An awesome and brilliantly written poem, dear Damien!

      • Thanks so much for reading and your kind words, Elke. So glad you connected with the write my friend. I couldn’t agree with you more. Appreciate you.

    • A beautiful and insistent plea for universal acceptance. Its rhythmic, repeated structure powerfully drives home the message that true connection requires us to simply “judge not” those who are different. Resonates in every line and leaves a quiet, lasting impact.

      • Thanks so much for reading and your kind words, Roma. So glad you connected with the write my friend. In a perfect world I imagine it would be like this write, I try to remain hopeful of humanity, though it’s not always easy. Appreciate you.

    • The seed of an idea cannot be killed if it’s meant to grow into fruition. It’s the beholder of that seed that makes the decision as to the outcomes, not the ones who try to dissuade.
