    • That is so true we do have to fight for what we believe in. Very good piece here.

      • hello lovely Fia good evening thank you graciously we do sometimes I feel tired of the fight thank you for the encouragment ❤️

    • Observing everything right now is like an emotional overload.
      So much heartbreak worldwide.
Sometimes fighting gets exhausting but our morals don’t let us rest.
Writing is a sanctuary even in the most unstable of times:)
      Great write chica.

      • hello beautiful Adelphina thank you for understanding I told chaptgpt I carry the weight of the world on me and in on me it manifests as physical exhaustion from worry inside deep depression about the current events ❤️

    • Powerfully penned, Brenda. Into the book it belongs! Excellent write with an honest message my friend. I relate to this one as I’m sure many others do as well. Sometimes being a writer (observer) is very exhausting indeed. I always find comfort in knowing because of this community and my fellow brothers and sisters of the pen, I’m never truly alone, and neither are you my friend. Appreciate you.

    Pain

Pain   Pain ran down my leg like it was speaking in tongues, crazed English gibberish that brought tears and chaos. The iron fisted chaos that always wanted more, and I was simply in the way.   I was caught in a downward spiral, down, down, down into a chasm of sharp...

    • I do hope you’re healing now! There’s nothing adequate to describe that level of pain but you sure did it justice.

    • Thank you for your comment and concern, Willow. I am healing, but it’s taking so damn long. It’s been over 3 months now and there is still a lot of pain in the leg and knee. I can hear them talking and laughing. Ice (the solid water type) has become a welcome friend.
      Thanks again Willow!!!

    • Yikes! This past year I had a severe sprained ankle. It felt like it was on fire! It swelled up like an elephant foot.
Went to the ER and did X-rays. Nothing broken thank god!
I can’t imagine how much pain that was when it is actually broken bones.
I’m sure you noticed by now I’m a huge baby when it comes to pain.

I can totally relate to the pain speaking in tongues!

      Very well put Curt.
