  • Hey, guys! I’ve uploaded the last chapter to Mummy Issues II: The Emerald Princess! 😁 For now, I only have two parts of these series, but I’ll get back to it this year and tell you what happened with Alex and Smith 😉🌹

    OUTCOME

The current carried us downstream. We clung to each other to keep from drowning or being torn apart by the rushing water. We drifted for a long time until our feet finally brushed the riverbed. The flow was gentler here,...

    • Very muchly enjoyed from one end to t’other .. I guess I should have started at the beginning of what I imagine is an ongoing story but I wanted to see where you are coming from & now of course have some idea .. Kindest of regards & all good things, my new found multi-lingual literary friend .. Neville

      • Hello Neville!

Thank you! 😀 I think it’s the illustration that attracted your attention, that’s why you started from the end 😀
Mummy Issues, part I and II, are exceptions in my portfolio, usually I write spy and detective novellas (which I will add later).

    • I have a lot to catch up…ugh, why can’t I be two people in one? Oh, are they all short standalone stories, or an ongoing series? The tags on them are different.

      • Hello Kay!

There is a part 1 and 2 of the Mummy Issues series, each novella containing 10 chapters. So, this is the 10th chapter of Mummy Issues II. Sorry if the tags are a little confusing, it’s confusing for me, too LOL I’m new here, so I have to figure out how the site works 🙂
So, if you want to read Mummy Issues II from the beginning, you should start with chapter 1 OUTLAW.

    • Okay, mon frere, my competitor, I see you have entered this Morning Coffee contest. Yours is lovely, then brutal, and in the end, bleak. Mine is cute, brutal, and in the end, funny. But mine has a secret ingredient: Coffee. Oh, I know, the rules say coffee OR tea are the liquids we honor — but MINE is COFFEE, and COFFEE is in the name of the contest, so I WIN! >THWEETT< (THAT'S A CARTOON inspired spitting action) So I win! hahahaHA! (that's a sarcastic laugh) Beside, Mine is about a cat and no one can tell a cat it's a loser and not be despised the rest of his life. Of course you can quit now (he said slyly) and save yourself the embarrassment of losing to a cat! (notice how I made the cat both powerful AND weak! How clever! Bonus points! Nice work though, BDB(P)

    • Powerfully penned, Peter. Excellent write my friend. Nicely done. Appreciate you.
