I have never been addicted to something so I can only comment as an outsider. The imagery of using Pavlov’s dog is genius. Who hasn’t seen a dog salivating over a meal? Even when the meal is not there the memory that is should be there causes the reaction.
It makes me feel bad that people have to go through this. Very good piece 253 -
