This poem has both great depth of emotion about the man whose wife gazes on in the form of a picture and the sizzling sensual story. Truly a masterwork of erotic poetry. You have a fantastic ability to convey the feelings and scene letting me see it as though I were sitting in a corner watching.

Intense write, DK. A lot of depth underneath this steamy write my friend. Nicely done. Appreciate you.

If you want intense love making, have an affair. At this point, everyone should have them. Keeps things exciting, fresh and exhilarating for both people. I’m sure your spouse is doing the same. Let’s keep it under wraps. Great work DK. xo

Meg, this is short but so potent. So straight to the steamy action. And yes alot of depth. You’d make me climax just as quick as this read I must say, I wouldn’t stand a chance holding out! Hehe! 😉

What a ride. This is fantastic. I was one of those latchkey kids as well. We did it and made it work. Ingenuity & creativity. It made us for what we are today. We weren’t kids sitting in the corner crying about spilled milk or some lame ass shit they cry over today. Nice work here.

Hi there Vision, I don’t know, I’ve been on this whole spinnaker of how life used to be. I think it’s the fact that the past 30 + years, life in America has just been decimated and eliminated; everything America was, is truly gone. And I’m feeling the burn. It’s not like generations before, where things would change and that was the way life goes, but it hasn’t just changed, It’s just gone.
Thank you for visiting. I always appreciate your presence on my page❤️

I don’t agree with everything but that’s okay. Your work makes you think. It’s a topic that is right at the front of the world but everyone is ignoring it. I like how you just tackled the issue in the room.
You might enjoy Ray Bradbury’s short Story “The Veld” it echoes what you are highlighting here.
Keep up the intensity my friend
I really enjoyed thisJames

Yes! I agree, let’s make sure those we love know how much we treasure them, while there is time.
Admittedly I struggled to read this through. The emotion is so incredibly palpable here, each word a pang of familiar grief.
If this is a personal loss for you – condolences , myfriend.
