Ba’al, ancient Semitic title for a “lord” or “owner”, earthly concepts and aspirations that doom the vast majority of humanity to this fleshy, fluid realm. But are you not the lord & owner of yourself? Perhaps our flesh (and subsequent consciousness) is merely a vehicle for something incomprehensible beyond.
