Summary:
It has been fun doing this collab with M.E Keep an eye out I may approach someone else to get into poetry bed with me, or in this case, a car. lol
This entry is part 1 of 6 in the series Collaborations

On this vehicle with no one behind the steering wheel
I am afraid of the wind
invisible in nature and yet always present, looming

And chewing on its edible paper cuts
I grew feathers in my arms
And I stare back at it with hollow eyes

In return, deep, grease filled eyes stared back
tiny burning pinpricks across ripped skin
gives me hope through pain

The rearview mirror says:

Fuck that! I want pleasure
Lipstick prints on the windshield
Steamed glass showing double handprints
The car rocks, and rocks and stays still

As a cigarette lighter plug
As a deer in the headlights
As the end of time

The chevrolet nova seized the day
Several memories within

In the end, she and I
Driving this vehicle with no one on the passenger’s seat.
