extracting this…tax-exempting that
profiting off of death war…racism…illnesses
etc…etc…etc………etc
you think of it…they’ve exploit it
it’s the lack of humaneness
that stokes and evokes the Richter of righteousness
to cry foul…to cry freedom
but when it comes to personal endeavors
the waters get somewhat muddied
and morality starts to look a wee bit murky
hidden in plain sight…so so close to home in those
treasured
401K’s..Rothman IRA’s
put in the last will and testaments of
the everyday hardworking man
silently investing in mutual funds…funding God knows what
turning a convenient blind eye
to back door dealings
cuz securing generational wealth for the family
comes first and foremost
all the while
posing as a wholesome citizen
using cell phones powered by ill gotten gains
never truly caring how shit gets made just as long
as it’s ready at their disposal while claiming
”i’m a good person”
until
there’s a chance for a pay day in an
unforeseen fender bender
or a Freudian slip and fall on
someone else’s property
now it’s all about them regular doctor visits
perennial back pain
and calls to 1 800 LAWYERS
so the newly anointed thespian
turned plaintiff plays the role to a tee
feeling deeply slighted
wanting all wrongs righted and made whole
by ”incorruptible” courts of law
pointing with feigned dignity from behind the stand
yelling loud and proud
