In Washington D.C. and other marches throughout the country, many Patriot Front members carried upside-down American flags while others carried Confederate flags. According to the Anti-Defamation League, Patriot Front seeks to establish an all-white ethnostate and promotes the belief that white Americans are entitled to the country because their ancestors conquered it.

I had to cry. If I had been that woman I would have been terrified — hell I would have been terrified if that had been me, with my very white male face, and I’m a USAF vet! These men were “Patriot Front,” who want America to be whites only. Because their white great great great great great grandfathers had whipped some other white folks from England. Huh? “Conquered?” Then they conquered a bunch of Indians who just had bows and arrows, and then some white Yankees fought some white Southerners, so I just don’t … oh, I got it! Then a Black man beat a White Man for President, so ,,, uhuh, yup.
Well, folks, the people who have been living in America have been fighting with each other since people came to this land. Then, as soon as we had boats and airplanes big enough, we went back overseas and started conquering other folks in their countries — and we took a lot of Black people to help us! And I don’t think any of them wanted to go!
So when does it stop!
When do we stop killing each other?
Please, please, just stop.
