    • “The jewes are the people that will not be blamed for nothing.” There was a lot of prejudice against jews in Whitechapel and the entire east end in 1888. I knew what this was about as soon as I saw the title. He left a leather apron behind after one of the killings. Possible Annie Chapman, not sure. Mary Kelly got it the worst, he had plenty of time with her. Excellent poem with great rhymes . I’m glad I read this.

    • Thanks for commenting..I’m glad you stumbled across it..and seems like you have a lot of knowledge about the history of this..I actually want to dive deeper and learn more..I never knew all this stuff..and how many victims there were..

    • You make me think…
It’s cool, I’m good at it!
I enjoy the complexity of your writes. The vocabulary. The nuanced messages. Even, a word I never knew until you shared it.
So thank you for the enhanced ability of your writes. It makes me stronger by reading them. And enjoying them.

      • As always, you are too kind Mark. I don’t miss many from DU, but you are definitely on the missed list.

    • This truly shows your intelligence and talent. Very supernacular.

    • I agree with previous commentors on the talent.
I like the analogies presented in this write.
Especially fond of the last stanza…reading this makes me feel like I saw her memories
just before they entombed her under the cathedral floor.
