There were two roads
One was good
And one which leads
To terrible deeds.
A traveller came to be
On the road when he did see
A sign that said:
“Two Roads And Where They Lead.”
The first is narrow
And always in sorrow,
Rocks on all sides
Hiding it from the light.
Yet it is very smooth
No worries if you loose
Your way, for its also boring
Leading to much snoring.
The other road is wide
Always cheerful to the sight
Happiness here and there
May mislead you somewhere.
And that’s what the sign was about
Which made the traveller in doubt.
The first will take you there
Yet it’s so dim and bare.
The other might take you there
But to choose wasn’t so fair.
Finally the traveler took his chance
And the second road he did glance.
