I could murder you on 5th avenue
piss on your decrepit body
wondering how you felt
those last moments of breath
perhaps scared yet unaware
of how I saved you from years of despair
because nothing can compare
forcing someone to live
working them till their bones break
putting up with the harshest of conditions
with every bruise on their soul
being a reminder of dreams shattered
it’s amusing to me
how you hang on to love
a family so sweet
better than any fruit I could ever offer
so I set you up with insurance
the kind that lies
tells you that they’ll always be safe
it keeps you working like a slave
but for those few moments with the family
you’ll feel like a king
that’s until you’re faced with reality
best to put away those teeth
you’re no beast
no threat at all to me
don’t you see you’re an insignificant bug?
the news plays the latest plague
see all those people who actually matter?
nice and safe in their homes
they can get away with anything
oh, you’re angry?
but you’re no celebrity
just a pathetic worker bee
if you get sick and die
no one would bat an eye
but I will thank you for your sacrifice
as I grin then laugh
glad I’m not in your shoes
could you even imagine?

Nery intimidating piece. You can feel the subtle threat in the words woven here
Powerfully penned, Nick. Incredible write my friend. Appreciate you.
Damian
Outstanding write Nick. Nicely done!
This is an excellent socially critic writing. Especially the perspective it is written from speaks louder than a thousand words. It reflects exactly what we are to the people in power: nothing but in significant bugs. Great work my friend!
You started this brilliant piece with an almost verbatim quote from the colostomy bag in chief and then proceeded to emphasize how he and those who follow his cult think and feel. Very powerful
Wow, harsh as fuck!
I’m a bit mind-blown and inspired at the same time.
You have a very crystal edge. x
