Every day, every second
beats alive in my mind
when I’m far away from you
constant moments on rewind
enough to fill miles of clouds
with happiness and
Valentine’s Day rain
kissing me with sprinkles
on a lonely February day
reminding me I’m loved
waiting for us to be together
I feel you everywhere
so today I decided
to send you love on paper
my marooned heart
shines like the moon for you
casting whispers of light
into your bedroom window
sending you vivid dreams
of how the night has soft curves
and breathes falling stars
that traveled fifty one years
searching until they found you
in a blaze of blinding lines
that dissolved into vapor
adoring you forever
so tonight I decided
to send you love on paper

This is Valentine’s Day month and wanted send some love before February is over.
I’ve been so busy offsite so I had to set time aside to write this down. We have to remember not to take our loved ones for granted. Mark is so special to me, had to write this.
