I no longer see as I once did
The feelings that I have are no longer hid
The darkness that visits me in the middle of the night
Dark enough to make a solar eclipse seem like broad daylight

I am at one with this realm and there is no fright
Trust none of your senses, especially not even sight
To simply lie back in the bed with my arms behind my head
I smell and felt a strangers grave, I am filled with echoes from the dead

They know me, some think that they know me all to well
Promises have been made and there are secrets yet to tell
I have been allow to enter them and walk through the gates of hell
I saw the rise of destroyers and I witnessed empires as they fell

The magnificient fires, flames reaching for the skies
The smell of burning flesh everywhere, the sound everthing makes when it cries
I’m told to wait my time will surely come
I’m waiting on a ruler that isn’t just corrupt, but this fucker has to be dumb

Finding themselves in a leadership role, that they’re totally unprepared for
Because of their stupidity, they are quick to threaten war
More concerned with themselves than the subjects under their rule
Exposing the ruling class as no more than a cesspool

The voices warned me to look for their signs
Be aware that this ruler will really be loud and also be out of their mind
They will plunder the world for any and all riches to fucking find
War will be threatened but no one will be standing in line

The voices will step in and the world will begin to smell of death
