The sadness in this really touched me.
People we love don’t get what’s important to us sometimes and the effort it takes to explain just isn’t worth it.
Yes it is not worth explaining as they are not going to understand even if you do.
Never judge your work by how it sells. Write for yourself and for your legacy. Let time deal with it in your absence.
